Accessibility Statement
Effective June 26, 2026 · Last updated June 26, 2026
Our commitment
On Time Heating & Cooling, LLC ("On Time," "we," "us," "our") is committed to making our website — otheating.com — and the services we promote on it as accessible and usable as possible for every visitor, including people with disabilities. We believe digital accessibility is part of good customer service and a fundamental part of how we deliver heating and cooling care to our neighbors across Waukesha County and surrounding southeastern Wisconsin communities.
Conformance target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard generally referenced under Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act and recognized in U.S. Department of Justice guidance regarding Titles II and III of the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA"). WCAG 2.2 AA defines success criteria designed to make web content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for a wide audience, including users of assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, switch devices, and voice-input software.
Measures we take
- Semantic, accessible markup. Pages are built with semantic HTML landmarks, proper heading order, descriptive page titles, and clear link/button text.
- Alternative text on informative images. Photos that convey information carry
descriptive
alttext; purely decorative images usealt=""so screen readers can skip past them. - Keyboard operability. All interactive components — primary navigation, menus, mobile menus, forms, dropdowns, lightbox galleries, and modals — are reachable and operable with a keyboard. Focus order is logical and a visible focus indicator is preserved.
- Color contrast. Text and interactive elements are designed to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA contrast minimums. Where our brand-orange paired with white was below the AA Normal text threshold, our internal brand guide directs us to use a darker rust tone for body prose so contrast remains compliant.
- Forms. Form fields carry visible labels, accessible names, error messages tied to the relevant field, and clear instructions where format matters (phone, email, zip).
- Motion & animation. Non-essential motion respects the
prefers-reduced-motionsystem setting, so visitors who request reduced motion will see calmer transitions. - Skip link. A "skip to main content" link is available at the top of every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Captioning & transcripts. When we publish meaningful video, we provide captions or a transcript. (Some short ambient background video may be decorative and silent.)
- Ongoing audits. We perform internal accessibility reviews every 12 months, or sooner when material site changes are released, and we factor accessibility checks into our pre-launch and design review process.
Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content on our site may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.2 AA. Known areas we are actively working to improve include:
- Embedded third-party widgets (e.g., online booking, chat, financing prequalification, map embeds, social-media embeds, video players). These are owned and styled by their providers; we work with vendors to keep them as accessible as possible but cannot guarantee their conformance.
- Older customer-submitted photos or third-party review content published on the site may not include perfect alternative text or transcripts. When we become aware of an issue we update or remove the content.
- PDFs and downloadable documents are reviewed for accessibility, but if you find one that is not accessible, we will provide an alternate format on request.
Feedback & how to report a barrier
If you encounter any barrier on our website, need information in an accessible alternative format, or want to give us feedback on accessibility, please reach out and we will do our best to provide the information or service you need:
- Email: [email protected] (subject line: "Accessibility Feedback")
- Phone: 262-671-8999 — answered 24/7
- Mail: On Time Heating & Cooling, LLC, 323 W Sunset Dr, Waukesha, WI 53189
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 3 business days. If we cannot resolve the issue immediately, we will explain what we are doing about it and give you a target date for the fix.
Assistive-tech compatibility
Our site is designed to work with current versions of common assistive technologies, including VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), TalkBack (Android), NVDA, JAWS, Windows Narrator, and Dragon NaturallySpeaking, used with the latest two major versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. If you use an older configuration and encounter a problem, please contact us so we can help.
Third-party content
Some content on this site is provided by third parties (booking widget, chat widget, financing application, map provider, embedded reviews and videos). We work with these vendors on accessibility but cannot directly control the accessibility of their hosted content. If a third-party widget is creating a barrier for you, please contact us and we will help you complete the task you need to complete by phone or in person.
Review cycle
This Statement and our internal accessibility review run every 12 months, or sooner when material site changes are released. We update the "Last updated" date above whenever our practices, conformance status, or known limitations change in a meaningful way.
